Welcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my work. I have
been a psychotherapist for over 20 years. My Master's degree focus was primarily on individuals, couples, groups and
family counseling.
Over the last 22 years, those who have seemed to benefit most from working with me are those people who are trying
to manage a great deal of stress. Whether the stress originates from work, or in situations where you are striving
to go forward or those situations that involve questioning your current life situation and perhaps managing a crisis,
such as a separation or divorce.
My first 10 years after graduate schoole were in Highter Education, specifically at The Colorado College in
Colorado Springs, CO and Elon University in Elon, NC. The following 11 years I was at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC, where
I was the Director of a clinical staff of six Master's level clinicians. For the last year, I have served as a senior
clinician and Program Director at Care and Counseling in St. Louis, MO.
My Post Master's work was at the Virginia Family Institute in Richmond, VA and the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Institute in
Raleigh, NC. Currently, I am in training with the Center for Self Leadership developing my skills in Internal Family Systems
Therapy.
My training has been in Marriage and Family Therapy and Object Relations Therapy. From 2001 - 2006, I taught a graduate
level Marriage and Family Therapy for the Graduate Theological Foundation. I am currently working to develop my skills in
Internal Family Systems Therapy.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Missouri Professional Counselors Association and the Missouri
Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of North Carolina and
Missouri.
